Dear Harpursville Families and Community Members,
As we wrap up the 2024–2025 school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support and partnership. This year has been filled with meaningful growth, success, and collaboration, and it would not have been possible without you.
Together, we’ve made great progress in strengthening student achievement and creating opportunities for every child to thrive. Whether it was supporting learning at home, attending school events, or working alongside our staff to build a positive school culture, your involvement has made a lasting impact.
I also want to take a moment to recognize the outstanding efforts of our entire school staff, teachers, aides, transportation staff, food service workers, maintenance and custodial teams, and office support. Each of these individuals plays a vital role in our students’ experience. Their care, hard work, and daily commitment contribute directly to student learning, safety, well-being, and the overall positive culture that defines Harpursville. We are deeply grateful for all they do.
Our continued focus on literacy and academic growth has yielded strong results, and we are especially proud of the progress students have made across grade levels. These achievements reflect the strength of our school-community partnership and the dedication of everyone working together to support our students.
To the families who entrusted us with your children each day, thank you for your confidence and support. To our community partners, thank you for the many ways you enrich our programs and provide resources that help our students succeed.
As we head into the summer months, I hope you find time to relax, recharge, and enjoy time with loved ones. We look forward to seeing students in our summer programs and then welcoming them back again in the fall, ready to continue our journey together, committed to excellence, and providing opportunities for every learner.
Wishing you a safe, joyful, and restful summer.
Thank you,
Heath Georgia
Superintendent
