As we begin to prepare for the upcoming school year, this post will provide our families with the resources and information needed for the start of 2026-27 school year.

First Day of Classes

Students in all grades will return to school on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

Wednesday, September 2, 2026 - Jr./Sr. High School Orientation
5:30 - 6:30 p.m. - Grade 7 & Newly Enrolled Middle School Student Orientation
6:30 - 7 p.m. - Refreshments
7 - 8 p.m. - Grade 9 and Newly Enrolled High School Student Orientation

Tuesday, September 8, 2026 - Open House and Community Fair
5 - 6:30 p.m. - W.A. Olmsted Elementary School
6 - 7:30 p.m. - Jr./Sr. High School
We will have members of our team grilling hot dogs, and chips and water will be served!

Wednesday, September 9, 2026 - Welcome Back, Students!

 

A Note from the Health Office

All students entering or attending school in New York State must be immunized. Please contact your child’s Primary Care Provider to make sure they are up to date on their vaccinations.

Health examinations are required for new students and in grades Pre-K or K, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11. Health exams are required yearly to participate in sports.

ParentSquare
Our district uses ParentSquare for school communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically syncs with our Student Information System to generate an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.
